CHINA CAMP STATE PARK
Heritage Day
Heritage Day is an annual event that takes place in August at China Camp Village. It brings the community together to celebrate Chinese-American heritage, seafaring culture, and the natural history of our beautiful park. This all-day event features musical and dance performances, including Lion Dancers and Chinese folk dancers. Demonstrations of origami take place, as well as guided tours of China Camp Village conducted by a park ranger or docent.

There are arts and crafts for sale, with 20% of the proceeds going to help Friends of China Camp.

Local environmental, cultural, and historical groups set up educational displays, including the San Francisco Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, the Marin History Museum, and Wildcare.

The Grace Quan, a replica Chinese junk, is docked offshore, along with other historic boats.

In 2013, Heritage Day took place on August 17. Download and print your own Heritage Day Poster.
